Homecoming 2012

Only 33 years since we walked the halls of Cohn High School...and tonight there was 9 who came back to enjoy more good times with plenty of laughs...making just a few more special memories for our old age years.

We will be having our 2nd annual Christmas party in December, please try and come...more information to follow with the date.  We will be going back to Rolling River Estates club house.  Hope to see more classmates then.  So pass the word.

Just a few short days till the annual Cohn Alumni Homecoming!!! who's coming?  We need to make sure all the other classes knows just which class is the best of the best...and that would be us, the Class of 1979!

The Cohn High Alumni Association will be sponsoring its annual Homecoming/Bar-B-Que on Friday, October 5th in the Cohn High gymnasium. Doors will open at 5:30pm and dinner will be served at 6:30pm. Cost is $15 per person. Please come early and visit the Alumni Center, which is located beneath the gymnasium. Improvements continue to be made on the Center. The Alumni Association is always in need of volunteers for our Homecoming event, so if you can help at the front door, clean up, etc. please reply back to me. If you would like to pre-pay, your name tag and tickets will be available at the door. Prices can go up or down but once you book, they can NOT go up, but if they do go down then you get the lower price.
is this something that those who wants to cruise our 35th class reunion would like to do? If so I will get more info on the total prices, deposits, and what we can do as a group with rates. But I need to have feed back from you all that would like to go :)

The wonderful class of 79 had a birthday/Christmas get together on Saturday, December 3. We meet at Rolling River Estates in W.N. 19 classmates on hand for hours of great stories, laughing till every muscle was aching...and tears flowing. We celebrated with Sherrie Nail Burns as she will be retiring after 34 yrs of working with the SBA in Jan 2012. Congrats to Sherrie on becoming a full time grandmother! Sherrie also had the oldest grandchild of those who were in attendance. Out little group also had 7 grandparents...some one told us we were old..since they didn't have grandchildren yet...and there was a reply of NO, the 7 grandparents just started having sex earlier! it was a good laugh :)
We all are looking forward to our next get together really soon..what a great group of life long friends we are!!

• • So let's end this milestone year for the Class of 1979 with a Christmas/Birthday Party. And yes, your special someone is welcome to come. We are asking that you please bring a finger food to share, and your choice of beverage. Please let us know what your planning to bring, so that we have a good choice of foods. Also the club house has a microwave and convection oven if things need to be heated.
